I’ve been the go-to travel planner for family and friends for decades—ever since I fell in love with travel after a three-week adventure through Europe post-college. I’ve been back to Europe—and beyond!—many times since then, thanks to my special affinity for architecture and culture. I enjoy nothing more than strolling the streets of London, Paris, or Rome to admire the marvelous buildings—from stately Haussman hotels to stunning Italian palazzos. 

The love of architecture comes from my background in design; I worked in the design and construction industry for 40+ years. In fact, I see a lot of parallels between building construction and building your itinerary—both involve a lot of moving parts (many of which you don’t even know about when you look at the final product!). And if you get one single, tiny link wrong, the whole thing can come crashing down.
